In this post techniq is going to discuss to configure the domain name you purchased from BIG ROCK.
Many people purchased domain, but they got confused to connect the domain name with your blogger domain.
To connect your domain name to blogger , you have to configure DNS settings from BIG ROCK account.
To connect domain following steps needs to be applied:-
STEP 1:
1: LOGIN TO YOUR BIG ROCK ACCOUNT.
STEP 2:
2: SELECT THE DOMAIN NAME YOU WANT TO CONFIGURE.
STEP 3:
3: Click on the domain name.
STEP 4:
4: Now click on the DNS management in the right side floating bar.
After that click on the MANAGE DNS in the window.
STEP 5:
5: Now click on the CNAME RECORDS from the list of record menus.
STEP 6:
6: After that click on the add cname records.
Now put the given value
part 1:-
HOST NAME=WWW.YOURDOMAIN.COM in the text box.
VALUE = ghs.google.com
now click on add.
part 2:-
click on add new cname record
HOST NAME= .YOURDOMAIN.COM
(leave the box empty for part 2)
VALUE = ghs.google.com
click add.
STEP 7:
1) go to blogger.com>dashboard
2) click on settings>publishing
3) click on add custom domain name
4) click on Advanced domain setting
5) enter the domain name and save the settings.
