How to Hide Disk Drive via Command prompt

In this post techniqkick.blogspot.in is going to discuss how to hide the hard disk and disk drives in windows by command prompt.there are many types of software you can use to hide the diskdrives.

But we can’t able to download due to some reasons like low internet speed.

So today we are going to hide disk drive via command prompt.

I also tried this and this is 100% working.

So here is the procedure

First of all click on the start menu and type cmd . Now run the command prompt.

1) After opening cmd prompt, you have to type the following command "diskpart". After this diskpart window will opens.

2) Now type "list volume” it will show all your hard drive partitions

3) Now select any of the hard disk volume you want to hide like this "select volume 2".

4) Now a message will appear as "volume 2 is the selected volume".

5) Now type "remove letter D".

6) Now your hard drive is hidden.

7) To unhide it again repeats the step 3 like this "select volume 2".

8) Then type "assign letter D".
