How to Turn On/Off desktop preview in windows 7

In this post techniqkick.blogspot.in is going to discuss how to turn on/off the desktop preview in windows 7. Desktop preview on show desktop button allow the user to temporarily minimize all open applications and make the window in transparent mode. This works when the mouse cursor moves on the show desktop button.

All this process works due to aero peek the new feature provided by Microsoft.

This process works in two methods:

Method 1

Enable/disable desktop preview through taskbar

 

1.      First of all you must right click on taskbar and then go through the properties.
2.      Then you will see a check box (use aero peek to preview the desktop).
3.      By this you can turn on / off the desktop preview.

Method 2

By using show desktop button

 

1. By right click on the show desktop button.
2. Then choose desktop preview.
3. To turn on Desktop Preview, select Preview desktop on the context menu so that a check is displayed.
4.  To turn off Desktop Preview, unselect Preview desktop on the context menu so that the tick is removed.
